SA TV (South Asian Television) is a privately owned ‘infotainment’ television channel in Bangladesh, introducing the ‘Idol’ franchise in the country through programs like Bangladeshi Idol. Established by S.A. Channel Pvt. Limited, SATV is a high-definition satellite channel that officially began broadcasting in Bangladesh.

SATV is the first-ever station in Bangladesh to use both HD and standard definition technology in its broadcasts. It operates under the acronym SA TV and is a Bengali-language satellite and cable television channel in Bangladesh.
